+How can I contact the GNRHS archives?

+Where are your archives located?

Our archives are located at two locations, one in Lines East at the Jackson Street Roundhouse in St. Paul, the other in Lines West at the Pacific Northwest Railroad Archives in Burien, WA.

+How can I visit the archives?

Genealogy Questions

+I have a relative who worked for the Great Northern. Do you have information on him/her?

We regret that we cannot answer your questions on relatives who worked for the Great Northern Railway. All GN personnel records were disposed of/destroyed at the time of the Burlington Northern merger in 1970. We have compiled some helpful information on our genealogy page that may help you with your search.

Membership Questions

+How can I join the GNRHS?

Please go to our Memberships page to sign-up!

+I have changed my address. Who do I contact to give you the new one?

Please use the Address Change From and mail, or email, it to our Membership Secretary.

+I haven't received the latest Goat yet.

Please check the GNRHS News section for the mailing date of the latest Goat and allow 3 weeks for delivery. The Goat is mailed via Standard (Third Class) Mail. If after 3 weeks you still havent received the Goat please contact our Membership Secretary to order a replacement issue.

+The Goat arrived damaged or parts are missing.

Company Store Questions

+How do I change my email address in my account?

If you have changed your email address please sign-in to your account using your old email address. Then go to My Account -> Manage Personal Info and change your email address under Customer Info, Billing Info and Shipping Info. Make sure to save the changes. From now on you can sign-in with your new email address.

+I only see PayPal. How can I pay by credit card?

You can pay with your debit or credit card as a PayPal guest. When you get to the PayPal checkout page, please click the "Don't have a PayPal account?" link at the right of the page and follow the instructions.

+I cannot sign-in. What can I do?

Please note that after registering it is necessary to activate your account. This is for security reasons. Without activation you will not be able to use your account. Please look for an activation email which you should receive right after creating your account. If you did not receive this email, please let the webmaster know.
